The Stockethill Nativity Trail

For all the family

21st - 24th December

The Greatest Journey right here in Cornhill and Stockethill. Follow the Trail and discover the peace and hope at the heart of Christmas. A fun activity for all the family with a gift at the end if you complete the trail.

All over the Stockethill area are posters retelling the story of the first Christmas. Find the posters, collect the letters and scan the QR code for some extra surprises. If you collect all the letters you can rearrange them into a word. Come to the stall outside Cairncry Community Centre on Christmas Eve to pick up a map of the Trail and collect a prize if you can tell us the word.

Trail posters will be up from the 21st till the 24th December.

A map of the trail can be found here:

On Christmas Eve the stall outside Cairncry Community Centre will be open from 10am till 4pm with maps and prizes available.

(Please note - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Please keep 2m distance from people outside your household whilst at the stall).

This Christmas we are all facing great challenges, but Christmas itself reminds us that God has not forgotten us. We hope that the Nativity Trail will be a fun way to remember the story of God’s love for us all. Whoever you are, where-ever you come from, whatever you’re having to cope with, there is hope to be found in the baby born in Bethlehem. You can find out more by getting in touch with us or here: https://peacewithgod.org.uk/

As Christians we love to celebrate Christmas – but like everyone this year, it’s hard not to be able get together as we would like. We’ve moved our services onto the internet: but we’ll also be holding a service in Cairncry Community Centre on Christmas Day. If you would like to join us at that service, please book a place by contacting Ian Aitken on 01224 686929 or iaitken@churchofscotland.org.uk
